A tranquil island sanctuary, the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island opened in February 2024 as the latest addition to Hilton’s luxury portfolio. The resort occupies a remote island roughly 130 kilometres south of Mah, on a pristine atoll surrounded by palm forests, unique flora and fauna, a sheltered lagoon and a coral reef.

Its contemporary architecture blends seamlessly with the island’s lush vegetation, creating the utmost privacy: every guest is welcomed to one of 57 pool villas, designed in harmonious tones with a sleek, modern aesthetic rooted in nature.

The estate’s own kitchen garden supplies much of the fruit and vegetables, allowing every meal to follow a sustainable farm-to-table philosophy. La Perle, the signature restaurant, serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with an emphasis on freshness. The Afro-Latin Fusion Restaurant and Bar offers lively entertainment well into the evening.
